Round we go

Compactfile storage units have been designed so that more binders can fit into a smaller area. The entire unit rotates for easy access of your files, and maximises space by having the wedge-shaped binders fill the full circle of each level. In its small 80cm diameter, each level of the Compactfile can accommodate up to 24 A4-size binders with an 80mm spine that are filled to normal extent. So a 6-level unit has the potential to store up to 144 binders! Even “over-full" binders will fit, although obviously less per level.

On the level

Compactfile is available in 1-6 level units, with additional levels able to be added to increase the height up to the maximum 6 levels. Each level has a locating ring at the centre so binders do not go in too deep, plus a raised edge on the outer rim to stop them from sliding off. There are also 4 screwed-on sides for each level, creating equal quadrants for greater stability. You can add on accessories to subdivide levels for storing vertical files or media, or a pull-out shelf that gives you a worktop to view files or binders at the unit.

With or without walls

The 2 to 6-level Compactfiles are freestanding, stable units. You can place them up against a wall and even pack them closely together because the rotation allows every binder to be readily accessed. Or you can place them anywhere in a room. Freestanding storage can utilise dead space and create a natural flow to a work area. You could create your own wall or partition with a straight or wavy row of units. The single level units are designed for tabletops, offering optimal storage space for your desk, pedestal, credenza or table.
